Elias Lewetegn
Director
Elias Lewetegn has a master's degree (MSc) in Physics and Math from Addis Ababa University. His research in renewable energy, particularly solar cells has been published by the international journal "Renewable Energy".
Mr. Lewetegn has 20 years experience as a teacher and 22 years as a school director. He has been leading the acedemic activities of the scool since it's opening day.
Birhan MacLaren
Business Manager
Birhan MacLaren has 20 years experience working as a school administrator. She's worked with children her whole life, she's a dedicated mother and volunteer.
Ms. Lewetegn has been succesfully managing our school's business since it's inception.
Jason MacLaren
Director of Development
Jason MacLaren is a former Peace Corps volunteer and teacher. He has a Liberal Arts & Sciences degree from Tulane University. Along with his work with Zagol Academy, Mr. MacLaren currently manages a mechanical engineering firm in Boston, MA.
Mr. MacLaren has acquired educational materials for the school and developed academic relationships with schools in the United States.
